Feldherr Storage Box FSLB055 for Memoir 44 - Winter Wars

This is certainly not how you imagined Christmas. In 1944, whilst others are sitting in front of the Christmas tree, Allied and German troops engage in fierce firefights in the freezing Ardennes.

With “Winter Wars” you get a lot of new game material, so you can recreate the offensive in the Ardennes as accurately as possible. To ensure that your game material stays organized and is not lost on the way to the next game night, you receive here the matching Storage Box FSLB055, including custom Feldherr foam trays. Here you can store and transport the contents of “Winter Wars” neatly and safely.

The set consists of:

• 1 Feldherr Storage Box FSLB055
• 1 Half-Size foam tray with 7 compartments for cards, tokens, and dice (HSMEQO050BO)
• 1 Half-Size foam tray with 11 compartments + 4 plastic token holders for hex tiles, dice, tokens, sandbags, and bunkers/bridges (HSMERN040BO + 60256)
• 1 Half-Size foam mat, 10 mm as height compensation
• 1 foam topper

To keep your game materials sorted and not disfigured by scratches and creases, we've packed 2 foam mats made of soft, fine-pored foam and 4 plastic token holders in the bag.

For your 88 Hex tiles, the insert with 11 compartments is ready for you to use. The tray is divided into 8 hexagonal compartments and three small compartments in the middle. Into the hexagonal compartments, you can place the hex tiles and token holders. You can fit up to 15 hexes or 2 token holders in one compartment.

In the small, diamond-shaped compartments, you can store obstacles like sandbags and bunkers/bridges.

For your game cards, like Summary Cards, Command Cards, and Winter Combat Cards, you use the other insert. This has 7 compartments, 3 of which are large card compartments, each with finger-thick cutouts. These make it easier for you to remove the individual stacks. Of course, the cards also fit with protective sleeves into the compartments.

The remaining game material, such as tokens, markers, Special Uni badges, and dice, can be distributed into the remaining compartments of the two inserts.

The 7 compartments of the HSMEQO050BO have the following dimensions:

• 3 compartments: 95 mm long x 68 mm wide x 40 mm deep
• 2 compartments: approximately 68 mm long x 48 mm wide x 40 mm deep
• 2 compartments: approx. 48 mm long x 29 mm wide x 40 mm deep

The 11 compartments of the HSMERN040BO have the following dimensions:

• 8 compartments, hexagonal: 63 mm long x 55 mm wide x 30 mm deep
• 3 compartments, diamond-shaped: 60 mm long x 40 mm wide x 30 mm deep

Finally, you put the included foam topper on the inserts. This prevents individual parts from falling out of the compartments. The campaign booklet is stored on the foam topper.

The Storage Box FSLB055 is made of coated, double-walled cardboard. This makes it not only pleasantly light, but also particularly tear-resistant and stable. The plastic carrying handle makes transporting easy.
